CCLI's new website for Australia and New Zealand is now live.

The curtain has finally been taken down on the new CCLI website. It is continually being improved to make it easy to navigate and provide you with the resources you need to help unravel the complex copyright issue.

Take a look http://www.ccli.com.au/

For those who wanted to see me in a suit.

Well here it is, for those who didn't think I would be wearing a collar and tie. I just recently had this photo taken for the company website.

Church Video Licence Website

The website URL is http://www.cvli.com.au

Church Video Licence

I am putting the final pieces together to begin selling the Church Video Licence here in Australia & New Zealand. It will allow church to have an umberella copyright licence to allow the viewing of movies for non-commercial purposes.

I have also been working on the website so stay tuned. I will post the new URL soon.

UPDATE: The licence starts at $110 AUD. If you contact CCLI's Australian office (02) 9894 5386 or New Zealand (09) 522 4494, they can set you up.

SongSelect Launch

SongSelect was relaunched on January 23rd, 2007 with and updated flash player and Now with the addition of chord sheets and four part SATB hymn sheets. This is a great resource for churches.

Portland is a great place.

I have been in Portland for 2 weeks and it is a really fun place to be. I have seen quite a lot of the city and got to visit Multnomah Falls and see the Columbia Gorge. It was all pretty spectacular.

I am looking forward to seeing Phoenix Arizona soon.

Back to the USA

I'm heading back to the USA soon for training for my new role with CCLI. I am really looking forward to it as I get to meet with the North American team BUT I get to go to 2 new places I haven't visited before Portland and Phoenix.

While I am not that fussed about travelling anymore I am also looking forward to test driving the business class seat.

My New Car

I got to order my new car this past week and hope to take delivery in September. It is a Holden Calais and is being provided by CCLI for my new role.

Change of Plans

I have been very content working for myself for the past few years, infact it has been almost 8 years since I have had a REAL job :) Where I am accountable to someone other than my family and where I work 40 hours a week instead of 60+.

I was recently approached to consider taking on a significant position working within the Australian office of an international company. Initially I thought it was a role that I would not want to do, but as I began thinking about the possibilities I began to get excited. I have enjoyed being my own person for a number of years, yet now it is time to change.

I saw how God was orchestrating connections that brought about the meeting with the CEO that wasn't just coincidence.

So, while this was not something I was looking for, I have accepted the position to be the new Managing Director of CCLI Asia Pacific.

I will continue to do the web development on a much smaller scale, and working with existing clients, but I won't be taking on any new work.

Personally it will give me greater scope to use my skills on a much bigger scale and it will also benefit us as a family.

Stay tuned to find out more about CCLI and the new role I take up later this year.
